This Privacy Policy explains how 851 Inc. ("851 Inc.", "Hunk", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Hunk, including the Hunk website, dashboard, API, command line tools, hosted hunk sites, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide or generate when using Hunk. This may include your name, email address, Google account profile details, workspace membership, hunk names, hunk slugs, deployment metadata, file paths, content types, file sizes, and uploaded site files such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, and other static assets.

We also collect technical information needed to operate the service, such as IP address, user agent, request timestamps, session identifiers, authentication cookies, CLI tokens or token metadata, logs, error information, and security events.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve Hunk. This includes authenticating users, creating workspaces, storing and serving deployments, enforcing hunk visibility, debugging issues, preventing abuse, responding to support requests, and communicating with you about the service.

3. Cookies and Authentication

Hunk uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and security. If your browser blocks cookies, parts of the authenticated app may not work correctly. The Hunk CLI may store authentication configuration on your device so that it can make authenticated API requests.

4. Service Providers

We use third-party providers to operate Hunk. These providers may process information for us only as needed to provide their services. For example, Hunk uses Google for sign-in and Cloudflare infrastructure for hosting, storage, databases, networking, and related operational services.

5. Hunk Content and Visibility

Hunk stores the files and metadata you upload or create through the service. Workspace-visible hunks are intended to be accessible only to authorized workspace users. Public hunks can be served publicly to anyone with the URL or anyone who can discover the public site.

You are responsible for the information and content you upload to Hunk, including any personal information included in your files, page content, scripts, or assets.

6. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention and Your Rights

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Hunk, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and protect our rights and the rights of others. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.

8. Links and User-Hosted Sites

Hunk may contain links to third-party sites, and users may publish sites that link to third-party services or include third-party code. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites or user-hosted sites.

9. Children's Privacy

Hunk is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the effective date.
